On January 18th, 2024, the FBI Newark CAAA, The FBI Newark Division Executive Management, and our dedicated law enforcement partners came together for a “Bridging the Gap” Town-hall event at the Hudson County School of Technology. The gathering included local Imams and key Mosque board leaders from Hudson and Bergen County.
This inclusive and constructive dialogue aimed to enhance communication and foster stronger bonds within our community. The primary objective was to unite key executives from various law enforcement agencies, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), New Jersey State Police (NJSP), New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (NJ OHSP), US Office of Attorney General NJ District – Civil Rights Division, Hudson and Bergen County Prosecutor’s and Sheriff Offices, and the Secaucus Police Department.
The meeting focused on addressing crucial matters related to our collective efforts in ensuring the safety and security of our community. Town-hall meetings provide a vital platform for encouraging collaboration and reinforcing our commitment to safeguarding the State of New Jersey. Together, we can strive towards creating a safer and more secure future for our residents.
