This outreach event educates the community, supports our local field office, and strengthens relationships with law enforcement and community partners. FBI Task Force supervisor, Victims Specialist, or Task Force Member provides a detailed explanation of what human trafficking is and how to recognize and report it.
The panel of speakers then introduces and further discusses statewide human trafficking initiatives with an overview of programs and resources, followed by a Q& A session. Following the Q&A, various handouts and collaterals provide outlining what organizations can do to help educate the public and support survivors of human trafficking.
Our Chapter members and Community Partners help organize and volunteer at the event, then share the outcomes and information provided with their respective networks.
The Infographic on the right shows some key red flags that could alert you to a potential trafficking situation that should be reported.
