School Supplies Drive North Ward Newark, NJ
This past Saturday, we had the joy of distributing 220 backpacks and 90 lunch boxes to students in the North Ward of Newark. In addition to providing school essentials, we had some fun with fingerprinting and other engaging activities!
The excitement in the kids’ eyes was priceless. One young boy couldn’t stop smiling when he opened his backpack and found all the supplies inside. A heartwarming moment came when a little girl proudly exclaimed to her mom, “Mommy, I can put my lunch into this bag and take it to school!”
