Refresher Training Day

We had an incredible Refresher Training Day this past Saturday, November 4th, at the Hilton Garden Inn Edison. It was an enriching day full of valuable insights and information.

The program began with an inspiring speech by SA Jonathan R. Nobut, shedding light on civil rights, hate crimes, and bias crimes, emphasizing the importance of upholding justice and equality.

Later, SA Jessica Dittmer delved into the fascinating world of art crimes, showcasing the complexities of protecting our cultural heritage.

In the afternoon, we had the privilege of hearing from Yolanda Melville, Director of Community Engagement at the NJ Attorney General’s Office, who shared insights into their crucial work in our community.

Keyla Munoz, a Human Trafficking Victim Specialist, passionately discussed human trafficking cases and the ways our broader community can support the FBI in addressing this critical issue.

Our keynote speaker, Steven Conlon, a Criminal Investigations Instructor from the Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, VA, gave us a glimpse into the remarkable work of his unit.

The program concluded with an engaging speech by Greg Ehrie, the Chief Security Officer of the Port Authority of NY & NJ, highlighting the importance of keeping our region safe.

It was a day filled with knowledge, inspiration, and dedication to making our community a better and safer place. Thank you to all our speakers and attendees for making this event a great success!
